Spring Awakening at FORESTIS

With the first warm rays of sunshine, the stillness of the mountains begins to shift. The snow slowly retreats to higher elevations, water starts to flow once more, and the forests surrounding FORESTIS awaken in their own calm, unhurried rhythm.
For centuries, this moment in the annual cycle has been perceived as a special threshold. Even the Celts marked the spring equinox, celebrating the growing light and honoring the goddess Ostara – a symbol of renewal, fertility, and nature’s reawakening.
Her symbol was the egg: a quiet promise of life emerging from within, gradually becoming visible – much like the feeling we were able to experience again during the recent Easter days. We hope you had the opportunity to fully enjoy this special time, to pause, and to consciously embrace the first signs of spring.
This symbol accompanies us in the weeks ahead, reminding us that every cycle holds within it a new beginning.
The lamb, too, has long been a symbol of this season. With the start of the grazing period, it represents purity, renewal, and the return of life to the alpine pastures – a culinary expression of spring that is deeply rooted in Easter traditions and whose resonance still lingers.
While the first blossoms are already appearing down in the valley, spring on the Plose reveals itself in its purest form: quiet forests, crisp mountain air, and sunlight that lingers a little longer over the peaks with each passing day.
It is a time to pause – and an invitation to consciously experience the gentle power of new beginnings.
