At an altitude of 1,800 metres, on the sunny southern slope of the Plose Mountain, nestled in the protective embrace of centuries-old trees and hidden from prying eyes, stands the FORESTIS Villa. Built in 1912 by the Austrian monarchy as a residence for physicians, it was part of a visionary sanatorium project. With its loggias, stone foundations and wooden façades, it bears the signature of alpine villa architecture shaped by Art Nouveau, preserving to this day its timeless elegance.
During their stay, guests enjoy absolute privacy, complemented by discreet concierge and butler service, as well as a private chef, all available around the clock.
The light of the Dolomites and the strength of the surrounding forest permeate the generous interiors, which span more than 1,200 square metres across several floors. Five spacious bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom, reflect the tradition of alpine villa design. Hand-hewn beams, floors and furnishings in larch, stone pine or spruce, crafted according to historical models, shape the atmosphere and create an indoor climate that naturally promotes restful sleep.
Today, the Villa is a place where time seems to stand still, a refuge that embodies the serenity of the forest, the radiance of the Dolomites, and the legacy of more than a century of history.
