YERA – A New Beginning in Harmony with Nature’s Rhythm

Today, on June 21st, the sun reaches its highest point in the sky — marking the longest day of the year.
The summer solstice has always held a special place in the cycle of the seasons, once celebrated by the Druids as a time of transition. At FORESTIS, this day serves as a fitting occasion to open a new chapter: the unveiling of YERA, a subterranean restaurant harmoniously nestled into the forest above the main house.
The name YERA means “harvest” and symbolizes the natural rhythm of the year, as understood by ancient cultures thousands of years ago. The harvest was seen as the pinnacle of the year — a moment of abundance, transformation, and renewal. This timeless wisdom forms the foundation of the forest cuisine created by Roland Lamprecht, who cooks at YERA in harmony with the four elements: earth, water, air, and fire.
Rather than following traditional menu structures, the dishes at YERA reflect the two great halves of the year — the light and the dark. At the heart of the space is a fire pit: a place of gathering, calm, and mindful enjoyment.
YERA is more than a restaurant — it is a holistic experience that weaves together nature, silence, architecture, and flavor, inviting guests to reconnect with the origins of life itself.
